Step-by-Step: Installing TiviMate on Firestick

If you're setting up on Android TV or Google TV (Sony, Nvidia Shield, etc.), skip to the Android TV section below — you can install TiviMate directly from Google Play Store.

Enable Apps from Unknown Sources (Firestick only)

Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options and enable Apps from Unknown Sources. This allows sideloading apps not in the Amazon App Store.

Install the Downloader App

Search for Downloader in the Amazon App Store (the orange icon by AFTVnews). Install it — it's free. This is used to sideload the TiviMate APK.

Download TiviMate APK via Downloader

Open Downloader and in the URL field, type: tivimate.com and press Go. Navigate to the Downloads section on the TiviMate website and download the latest APK version.

Alternatively, type the direct APK URL from TiviMate's official website if you already have it.

Install TiviMate

When the download completes, Downloader prompts you to install. Click Install and wait for completion. Click Done when finished, then delete the APK file to free up space on your Firestick.

Open TiviMate

Find TiviMate in your apps list (check under Your Apps & Channels → See All if it's not on your home screen). Open the app and select Add Playlist from the welcome screen.

Select Xtream Codes as Playlist Type

TiviMate will ask what type of playlist you're adding. Select Xtream Codes — this is the correct method for Zylo TV. Do not select M3U URL.

Enter Your Zylo TV Credentials

Fill in the following from your Zylo TV welcome email:

Server URL: Your Zylo TV server address (e.g. http://server.zylotv.com:8080)
Username: Your Zylo TV username

Click Add. TiviMate will connect to the server and start loading your playlist. This takes 1–3 minutes depending on your connection speed.

Wait for EPG to Load

After your channels load, TiviMate will automatically begin downloading the EPG (programme guide). This takes 5–15 minutes on first load. You can start watching live TV immediately — the EPG will populate in the background.

Don't close the app during the first EPG load. Future EPG updates happen automatically in the background.
