Live sports and local TV — Calgary Flames, Calgary Stampeders and Calgary Roughnecks games, plus local Calgary stations, in HD and in 4K where the broadcaster offers it. Works on Firestick, smart TVs, phones and computers.
Calgary Flames at Scotiabank Saddledome are at the heart of one of hockey's most intense provincial rivalries — the Battle of Alberta against the Edmonton Oilers is contested twice a season with city-wide intensity. Calgary Stampeders in the CFL have been one of the Grey Cup's most dominant teams this decade. The Calgary Stampede in July — the world's largest outdoor rodeo — brings 1.2 million visitors and creates international sports viewership demand.
Zylo TV carries the national and regional sports networks that show Calgary sports, with no separate sports package on top of your subscription. Games that stream only on a league or team app, and pay-per-view events, are the ones to check during your free trial.
All games broadcast on NHL, CFL, NLL networks are included in your subscription. Games that stream only on a league or team app are the exception.

More households in Calgary are moving off cable as pricing keeps climbing without much added value in return. On Shaw/Rogers or Telus PureFibre, Zylo TV runs directly over the existing connection — no new box, no technician visit, no long-term contract. The channel count alone is usually the deciding factor, since it's far beyond what a typical Canadian cable package includes, and the whole setup can be finished online in a few minutes.
Zylo TV's annual plan works out to $6.58/month, with no contract and no box rental. Compare that with your current cable or satellite bill in Calgary, including equipment fees and sports add-ons.

Most of Calgary is served by Shaw/Rogers or Telus PureFibre, and either one handles IPTV streaming comfortably on a standard plan. A different local provider works just as well, since Zylo TV isn't tied to any particular network — only the minimum speed requirements matter. Wired connections are worth it for live sports, though Wi-Fi is generally fine for day-to-day viewing.
Zylo TV works with any broadband connection — cable, fiber, DSL, or fixed wireless. The only requirement is a stable internet connection of at least 10 Mbps for HD or 25 Mbps for 4K. Here's how the main Calgary providers perform:
| Quality | Min Speed Required | Recommended Speed | Data Per Hour |
|---|---|---|---|
| SD (480p) | 3 Mbps | 5 Mbps | ~0.7 GB |
| HD (720p) | 5 Mbps | 10 Mbps | ~1.5 GB |
| Full HD (1080p) | 10 Mbps | 20 Mbps | ~3 GB |
| 4K Ultra HD | 25 Mbps | 50 Mbps | ~7 GB |
Tip: For live sports, use a wired Ethernet connection rather than WiFi wherever possible. Ethernet eliminates buffering during high-action moments.
No technician visit, no equipment rental, no installation window. Set up Zylo TV yourself in under 5 minutes on any device:
