Live sports and local TV — Winnipeg Jets, Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Valour FC games, plus local Winnipeg stations, in HD and in 4K where the broadcaster offers it. Works on Firestick, smart TVs, phones and computers.
Winnipeg Jets returned from Atlanta in 2011 and the city embraced them with extraordinary passion — Canada Life Centre (True North Centre) was built specifically for the Jets. The Whiteout Street Parties outside the arena during playoff runs are a uniquely Winnipeg phenomenon, with tens of thousands gathering on Donald Street. Blue Bombers won back-to-back Grey Cups in 2019 and 2021. Winnipeg is a true hockey prairie city.

In Winnipeg, the appeal of IPTV over traditional cable usually comes down to a simple comparison: more channels, less commitment, and no equipment to install. Whether the connection is Bell MTS or Shaw/Rogers, Zylo TV activates over the existing line in a few minutes, with no technician visit and no long-term contract locking the household in.
Zylo TV's annual plan works out to $6.58/month, with no contract and no box rental. Compare that with your current cable or satellite bill in Winnipeg, including equipment fees and sports add-ons.

Most Winnipeg households sit within Bell MTS or Shaw/Rogers coverage, and both stream IPTV cleanly on any standard plan. Households on a different local provider aren't at a disadvantage — Zylo TV only needs the minimum speed requirements met, regardless of brand. A wired setup is worth it for live sports, while Wi-Fi handles the rest of the household's viewing without issue.
Zylo TV works with any broadband connection — cable, fiber, DSL, or fixed wireless. The only requirement is a stable internet connection of at least 10 Mbps for HD or 25 Mbps for 4K. Here's how the main Winnipeg providers perform:
| Quality | Min Speed Required | Recommended Speed | Data Per Hour |
|---|---|---|---|
| SD (480p) | 3 Mbps | 5 Mbps | ~0.7 GB |
| HD (720p) | 5 Mbps | 10 Mbps | ~1.5 GB |
| Full HD (1080p) | 10 Mbps | 20 Mbps | ~3 GB |
| 4K Ultra HD | 25 Mbps | 50 Mbps | ~7 GB |
Tip: For live sports, use a wired Ethernet connection rather than WiFi wherever possible. Ethernet eliminates buffering during high-action moments.
No technician visit, no equipment rental, no installation window. Set up Zylo TV yourself in under 5 minutes on any device:
